I feel like this is one of those books that you need to own and revisit.
She tries to say that perhaps the disease was not the thing killing her, but her disconnection from her archetype or mythic influence. Ardhetypes all of a hour to absorb!

It’s not particularly enlightening, but might be useful to someone who has never read Myss’ earlier works or just wants a very fast overview of traits, strengths, weaknesses and shadow side of a handful of modern types. Byshe discontinued doing private medical intuitive readings, and instead started teaching it, through her workshops, seminars, radio shows and guided archettpes.
Please excuse these examples; my qualms with this book are difficult to put into words.
For what reason was I born? The way it is layed out helped me to get to know the archetypes. That they give “bogus information” and “drain your bank account.
Refresh and try again. The whole thing feels like it was written in about 2 seconds, mostly copied and pasted, and you would expect better quality for a hardcover book that’s popular in current non-fiction.

I didn’t care too much for this book. Deriving from her practice as a medical intuitive, she started writing books, in the field of energy medicine, and healing, all of which became New York Times Best Sellers.
It only introduces the 10 families of archetypes, giving small lists of how to recognize their power and integrate it into our lives. Disclaimer given per FTC requirement. So are you a Rebel? I thought that the test was obvious and poorly created. Archetypes are universal patterns of behavior that, once discovered, help you better understand yourself and your place in the world.
Before writing about percentages and possibilities, the author should take a lession in probability theory lol. She tours internationally as a speaker on spirituality and mysticism, and lives in Oak Park, Illinois, near Chicago. Myss has made a reasonable argument that the pattern of behavior associated with “fashionistas” is predictable and prevalent enough that I’m willing to go with it.
As a Christian, I believe this is a question of fundamental importance, but you are only going to find the answer within the pages of the Bible. This is the basis for the entire self-help industry, and probably explains why I have an innate distrust of self-help, even in its Christian guises. This book seems to exist primarily as a lead-in to yet another social networking site — as if the world really needs another one of those archetyles base Anyone looking for Archetypes to serve up a scoop of Jung or Greek mythos is going to be sorely disappointed.
