This author understands how to create a new future world that just might be around the corner and he knows how to make it exciting and full of suspense. The story is set in an affluent but charming city of Thousand Oaks, California–a place that holds a significant presence in the Tech Coast. Though not as exciting or breathtaking as Daemon, but still very good is Orson Scott Card’s novel ‘Empire’.
